He's exhausted but before he rested, he got online and chat with me for a few. He just wanted to say that we would not be able to talk today but he would get enough sleep so I can keep him up as long as I want to tomorrow.
You know when you put someone else's feelings first before yours because they want you to show you how important they are to you? When you're really tired but would still go out of the way to talk to the person just to let him or her know that you're safe and that you'll talk again tomorrow or sooner?
