Today, I found out that he's sick and that was why he missed his promise last Saturday at 10pm/am.
He did not come to work today and had a doctor's appointment in the afternoon. I sent him an e-mail before I went to bed.

He hasn't been online for four days.
First day, he sent me an email (from i don't know where) saying there was a problem with his connection.
Second day, we exchanged e-mails and he said someone was supposed to come to his place for the internet issue. He also reminded me that he's visiting K that day and that he hopes to talk to me that night. The night passed by and I did not hear from him.
Third day, we didn't e-mail each other.
Fourth day, we exchanged e-mails and he said he thinks the router is fixed and we might be able to talk after he visits K.
Well, it was already past 10pm his time. I did not think he was going to go online so I thought maybe he was just making some excuses.
At 10:23pm, he went online and looked for me right away.
I asked if his connection is already stable and he said, me and my computer are in my car. I said, what do you mean? He added, at Starbucks, I am using their wi fi.
Me: You're at Starbucks now???
Him: no i am in the parking lot... i have a desk computer... so it is hooked up to my car...
Him: i just knew if i waited another day you would be really angry...
... and i couldn't bear thinking about that
... so i thought about it for a while and just decided to try to pack everything up
... and find a wi fi

He got home from his weekend visit to his parents with K.
He's exhausted but before he rested, he got online and chat with me for a few. He just wanted to say that we would not be able to talk today but he would get enough sleep so I can keep him up as long as I want to tomorrow.
You know when you put someone else's feelings first before yours because they want you to show you how important they are to you? When you're really tired but would still go out of the way to talk to the person just to let him or her know that you're safe and that you'll talk again tomorrow or sooner?
That is me...

Today, I went to the grocery and along the long line to the cashier, I was just thinkin about him.
I discovered what my song is for him today, it's called Today by Joshua Radin.
I painted my room Citrus Green.
I am almost prepared for his assignment for me during the weekend that we didn't talk.
Cos I know I ain't crazy, I know I ain't trippin' i know I ain't slippin'...

Today, I got home at past 4pm. We promised I'd ring him when I got home so I did.
I rang him and I woke him up. It felt terrible waking him up. I asked how long he has slept and he says, 3 or 4 hours. So, I asked if he wanted to go back to sleep and he said, no we talked about this and I wanted to spend time with you.
He will not be around for the rest of my Sunday, he's visiting his parents with K but he asked if I would be around on Monday at 5 or 6am because he wants to show me K on cam.
He says the most attractive feature he likes about me is that I make him laugh (and oh well, that I am very cute).
We talked for three hours and he did all the talking (with just three hours of sleep).
This guy amazes me.
BTW, he gave me an assignment to prepare more questions for him the next time we talk. He says that I could send him an e-mail during the weekend that we won't be able to talk because he could still check his e-mail.

Today, he compares me to an oak tree. He says oak trees last longer than mushrooms do.
I asked him to describe the two other girls that he met before me and just says, they do not hold a candle to who or what I am.
Oh and gosh, I asked him what he had for dinner and he said nothing. He hasn't eaten for 24 hours already because he doesn't eat at work. I told him to grab something to eat and I'd wait. I sent him an e-mail after we talked.
Do me a favor and grab a sandwich or a full meal. I'm not trying to impress you by showing that I care but I don't think you'll be healthy enough to see me in six months or for the rest of your life if you continue not having anything in your stomach for 24 hours.

Today i sent him an email asking how's work doing with him having only 3 hours of sleep. We talked until 1am his time yesterday. He responds and says, he's never had so much caffeine in his life til today but the three hour sleep was worth it.
Today, we talked for about 2 and a half hours. He says, there were some women in the office who started flirting with him when they found out that he's no longer married. Those women who used to treat him like a crap are now paying attention on him but whenever someone flirts with him, he thinks about me and feels guilty and thinks that, "if Lora was here, she's going to be pissed". He says it's weird that he avoids these women because of me (and i am miles away).
He asks if I was falling for him. And I said, well you're supposed to be the first one to answer that question. So, he waited til it was my turn to ask and answers the question.
Oh, and he says now, he usually exceeds his speed limit to get to his computer fast and that he finds himself staring at YM at 8:30 in the evening to see me get on.

It was 10 in the evening his time. I was having a hard time hearing him because of his headset. So, after a while of talking he asked permission to leave for 30 minutes and says he'd be back. What I heard he said was that, he was just going to brush his teeth.
After 30 minutes, he came back with a new headset. Turned out, he did not brush his teeth for 30 minutes. He bought a new headset at Walmart, at 10 in the evening his time.

It's been a while.
In fact I've forgotten how good it feels to write how I feel at this moment and look back weeks or years after to remember the good or bad things life had to offer.
I had to say nothing much has changed. I'm still that girl who really aims for greatness in every thing she does. I still love the feeling of not having to wake up when I don't want to on weekends. I still dream of singing in a wedding dress with a band at my own wedding. I still stay eat much, too much. I still love a good movie that could make me cry... And, I still love the idea of hoping that he's out there. Somewhere out there.
Nah, this is not another sappy, feeling lonely waiting for my The One, thought it was him but not really, blog entry...
I just wanted to say or write that for the past seven months, I hoped. Like any other girl, like one of those times that I had hoped before, I hoped. I hoped that no matter how silly and crazy the situation was what I was into, there would be a happy ending at least for a while.
Of course, it wasn't a happy ending. If it was, I would not have been singing to the lines of "all this time I was wastin hopin you would come around". I am OK though, never been better. I guess like everybody else, you miss the feeling it gives you when you're in that moment. That moment when you start thinking you're going to hold on to that feeling and will not let go because that's what it might take to have the ending you were looking for all your life.
It's been a while and it may take a while again but that's what it would make it sweeter in the end. Looking back and knowing why these all had to happen after all.
